Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Jeremiah 32:27 KJV
God asked Israel if there was anything too hard for Him.
Job 42:2 says, “I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.” Nothing is too hard for God. He can do anything.
- He is all powerful. He created the heaven, the earth, the entire universe, and all living creatures and plant life within them in six short days.
- He is all knowing. God knows everything. According to Job 42:2, we can’t hide even one thought from Him.
- He is all present. God is everywhere throughout time at the exact same moment in time.
Psalm 145:17 says, “The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.”
Deuteronomy 32:4 says, “He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.”
Because God is holy, everything He does is good.
Mankind is incredibly limited. We’re limited by time, by space, by our abilities, by our knowledge, by our intelligence, by our financial and material resources, by our health, by our mobility, by the decisions of others, by things beyond our control such as the weather or natural disasters. Of course, not everyone has all of these limitations, but everyone lives with some type of limitations. And since we’ve lived with limitations our entire life, it’s difficult for us to comprehend a God with no limitations.
What limits God? Nothing. Not time, not space, not abilities or knowledge or intelligence. God has absolutely no limitations.
Jeremiah 32:17 says, “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:”
God proclaims Himself to be “the God of all flesh.” Who made the birds? God. Who made the sea creatures? God. Who made the animals? God. Who made the people? God. Our Lord is the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for God? No. We live with constant limitations, but we serve a great God who knows no limitations.
Luke 1:37 says, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
